I’m a very creative person. I’ve taken subjects such as graphic design and game production, which both require you to be creative in whatever you’re creating for the subject. I learnt graphic design for two years in secondary school, where I made media-related work such as TV and film posters. Although I didn’t continue into college, I still occasionally use software such as Photoshop for personal projects. During my two-year course in game design in college, I learnt skills such as 3D modelling and the basics of art, two fundamental skills needed to create a game. During my time there, I ended up making a fully functioning visual novel game. During the process I found that I enjoyed creating the user experience/user interface system for my game. This experience inspired me to pursue the Media Production course at De Montfort University, as I found the parts I enjoyed the most on my college course were more media-orientated than game design.
